Shopping Small this Christmas

I can’t quite believe it’s that time of the year again. It’s fair to say 2020 has been STRANGE, but we’re all here together. Experiencing this weirdness together. With 2 lockdowns now for the UK, it is now more crucial than ever to support our beautiful small businesses. In today’s post I wanted to do a little ‘Shop Small Guide’ and share with you my favourite small businesses across the UK! I hope you enjoy this guide, and find it useful. Please support small wherever, and whenever you can.

Kicking it off is of course our very own small business, Arkana UK! As you may know this is a family run business, and myself and my family are the official distributors of Arkana here in the UK. I adore these cosmetics, they definitely deserve more acknowledgment as their effects are undeniable. All natural ingredients, no nasties and not tested on animals. There’s lots to choose from for even the most demanding skin types. Also, you can now find new Christmas Sets, yay!

The beautiful resin & art pouring by Helen is a must! Her work is stunning and she offers lots of unique resin coasters, center pieces, bookmarks and more. She also offers exceptional pouring pieces that look gorgeous in any home! I have a collection of her work much bigger than I can fit because I’m addicted! She has just released her Christmas resin range, which I had to jump on straight away, so highly recommend.

My favourite candles! Undeniably fantastic. Why? Because of everything they offer. The quality is 100% and they never disappoint. Scents are stunning and designs are so elegant. Aggie puts her whole heart and soul into her candles, reed diffusers and wax melts. Everything is tested many times before launched. I highly recommend the Christmas range and the Crystal range!

Jenny offers some beautiful artwork, all designed and painted by herself. She is a watercolor Eco Artist that offers unique pieces like homeware, cards, gifts, portraits and also offers commissions. I have a really wide range of her products including mugs, artwork for my wall, chopping board, beeswax wraps and coasters. Definitely one to check out!

Nellie has a new small business that is just so unique! She mainly offers cards with her own handmade artwork! It’s super cute and beautiful and very affordable. She also allows the customer to customize their options which is great! I love the pastels and genuine feel of her artwork. It’s stunning! She’s inspired by nature, particularly woodlands, and paints in a whimsical and colorful style (which I LOVE).

Natalie runs a gorgeous small business of which I’ve had the pleasure to buy from. Natalie offers a more Eco friendly option to wax melts that so often come in soy wax and plastic packaging. Her melts come in glassine packets and contain no glitters or mice powders, going for the least impact on the environment. She also makes beeswax candles and beeswax wraps. Her little candles are super cute and perfect for gifting!

Marika runs an amazing business based around the loveliest gift box sets. I cannot count how many I’ve bought (mainly for myself because I couldn’t resist). She offers a wide range of beautiful and unique gift boxes at a really affordable price. Her business is my go to for a pick me up or gift idea. She now also has the best Christmas gift boxes to get cosy & feel the spirit of Christmas!

Emma has a fabulous upcycling business. Everything is handmade by Emma, and is truly gorgeous. She offers face masks, scrunchies, headbands, hats and so much more. The designs are lovely and on trend. I have a whole heap of scrunchies from her, as well as a hairband. The quality is amazing and service super fast!

Watch this space for any additional businesses that may be uploaded on the run up to Christmas! Thank you for reading.
